Welcome to peacelovez.com, a tumblin' account of ongoing conversations in the universal language of music. Hip-hop, beats, Soundclouders, Myspace holdouts, #internetmusic (lol?), souls of tone, and futuristic bedroom producers are all welcome. Basically, you'll find tomorrow's tunes here. Don't expect any flying cars, though.

I'm a Journalism student at Ryerson University in Toronto, ON. I'm also the Creative Director of Rye's Student Hip-Hop Organization chapter. I do photography, web stuff, writing, and even make a decent coffee. I blanket myself in curiosity and music, and I'm always looking to connect with others who want to build something positive.

Send any inquiries, potential gigs, music submissions, lowkey free stuff, your sister's phone number, or anything else to eric.zaworski@gmail.com. Peace.

Los Angeles artist Ill Chill reached out to me on email, and I’m real glad he did. Track features Anthony Ellect, and is a good song that walks the line between seducing girls you like with cornball text message lovenotes and encouraging a “DO WORK” ‘tude, but it works.

I always dig drone-y synths like this, and I’d like to see more of an exploration of these concepts in the lyrics. Pretend bragging and impossibly high claims of luxury gets a bit tired, especially when it comes from artists you just know work day jobs when they’re not being internet important, so this is one’s a breath of fresh air.

“I wanted to capture the listener’s emotions and get others inspired by the sounds & samples I chose. I love creating that feel good music. Most of the tracks have female voices because I feel that only a woman can inspire a true work of art.. Thanks to Soulection I’m able to do what I love and will continue to do so in the future.”

PRISM Mix 003 comes courtesy of Sivey, kicking off what’s set to be a big year for him with both a collab EP with Evil Needle (who brought us last months PRISM Mix 002) and a solo EP lined up.

Following on from the success of his Frank Ocean ‘Pink Matter’ refix, which turned heads and introduced a lot of people to his meticulous ear for sound, Sivey showcases an expertly mixed selection of tracks that he’s feeling right now as well as a few exclusives thrown in for good measure to give you an idea of what you’ll be hearing from him this year.

Here’s the full track list and download.

“Magic” by HOF feat. Vito.

I love when this happens.

Young Miami-based rapper HOF randomly emailed me on a Wednesday evening inviting me to check his first project, Magick out. I got to it a couple days later, and was blown away by the sound. This kid just comes out of nowhere with some familiar themes, but flips its in such a solemn, energetic yet reserved way that really blends well with the soft stringy melody in the background, peppered with a heavy bass rumble that brings it all together.

Keep this guy on your radar. We need more diverse flows like this in a world populated with A$AP Mob prospects, Meek Mill imposters, and everything in between.

Download HOF’s Magick LP here.

Downloaded the EP based on this track alone, only to find out that it doesn’t come out until tomorrow! Pretty great sequences going on in here, and who doesn’t love music about doing low-key-under-the-radar-never-know-what-hit-em type shit? Yeah.
